Description
A full moon hung low in the dark night sky, casting its pale light upon the Earth beneath it. Moving through the forest, Moriesha, personal bodyguard to Elven Queen Lenisha, held up her hand in a silent signal to halt. Senses alert, she quickly notched an arrow and took a silent step forward, looking for the danger she had sensed. Her own Royal heritage gave her the gift of telepathy; she was a Moran Elf, the last of a noble line. No-one, whether human or Elf, could match her skills in hunting, tracking and fighting. She was the best.
"Stay behind me, my Queen," she said in her mind, knowing Lenisha would hear her telepathic words. As graceful and silent as a panther, Moriesha began searching the area, alert for anything untoward...
