Description
This is a bit farther along the street from the following images (posted earlier than this one), and we get a good view of some of the older hotels near the esplanade. Actually this is about two blocks from the citadel and the city walls and gates. A nice, quiet area... at least when we were there.
Comfortable, old-style rooms with modern amenities, and very charming staff who were almost TOO helpful. ;-) Easy walking distance from restaurants, in fact; some of the greenery on the left is a garden in front of a largish restaurant. The rest of the greenery is parkland.
