We are a little bit out of sequence. I was wracking my skull trying to remember where this was. It's a gate from the upper old town into the lower old town. IIRC that funny, little area at the bottom of the road is where the stairway into the really lower old town sits. This gives a pretty good idea of how steep these streets are. One of those shops on the right is where we picked up some booty including a much-admired 'knocking beaver' hanging outside our front door. People use it, but we can't hear it, so it works really well (for us). Enjoy, and thanks for viewing.
