Description

I have been forcing my self to spend more time learning Carraras modeling and UV mapping. Everything for this image was created in Carrara and object temps were exported and maps applied in Photoshop. The model on the box is the same one in the foreground but rendered with a different set and background and lighting. The rotor vortex blur on the blades was created with a transparent blur disc added to the center of the main rotor. It was then rendered with the model and its lighting in Carrara for export.

Thanks for your comments! The box does need more work. I wanted to use the image inside a 3D DVD jacket but I have never tried making just a 3D box and map images to it yet. Still at it!. :)

Great work, a masterful application of textures on the aircraft. I like the helmet in the background.
