Description

My first real transatlantic render. Got up to 40% in the UK, then got to Indiana yesterday and finished it this morning. Really shows how different monitors can effect an image. Looks worse on my GF's monitor. Bryce model and render with a bit of post to increase the contrast.

A great pictures, the colors are terrible and well ajusted to the matter. From here (Belgium) it looks absolutly good and well contrasted :-)

:-) Thanks Unzy, I really hope that the translation got "terrible" wrong and you meant something else.

Great image. Very effective use of light, shadow & reflectivity. Dramatic POV & well-balanced composition as well. The spider is interesting - I wish it was a little bigger so I could see more detail.

It's a good image. If you could, explain the rough green color under the spider, what exacally is it? In my opinion it doesn't really fit, but then again I don't understand it's purpose. Good overall image.

All the green light in the image comes from one radial inside the spiders head. As to why it reflects around the spider (and in the spheres), I 'm not sure.

Renders don't usually travel that much, so kudos for that, and this is a really cool picture, I love how the spider sits atop the endless spheres...
