Description

Probably my entry for the Still Life challenge. Decided to use simple Bryce primitives and see how realistic I could get them. Only one radial. I tried more, but liked the way the light refracted with just one. Check the forum for a few wips showing my TIR tests.

Worthy of my vote, this is just beautiful. Your use of light, reflective, shadow,& the refractered is very well done, great job.

Very very cool and realistic. I wouldn;t change a thing. I like the picture wall refractions. Are those other pics you did in those paintings on the wall? ~v~ Good job. Cheers!

Oh the shinies! This is beautiful work, I thought it was a photograph from the thumbnail. The lighting is perfect with one radial, the changes in reflections and refractions through all the glass are so beautiful. Fantastic texturing on the base, it looks so cool through the glass.

Awesome picture. Literally. Its worthy of some awe. Everythings great.... I do shudder at the thought of how long it took to render....

Excellent. Difficult to believe that it is simply a rendering.

Nice glss works, you certanly had a little bit bigger rendering time on this one, yet i would suggest only one thing, maybe soft shadows would give this image even more realistic look, overall very striking lightning, considering that you used only one radial light... FAKE on !!! :)

The render time was about 30 minutes. Only one radial and no fancy settings helped to keep the render time down.
