Description

Been working on this for the past week, I am finally done!! This originally started off as an outdoor lighting "practice" for some mountains and a lake, and I just started adding some walls and bridges, then I had a pretty clear image in my head of what I wanted and modeled the japanese buildings and airship. the whole image came in at around 400 million polys. I modeled the ship back in August, and Its never really been the focus of any of my renders until now. The original render was 1000x720, but to save time I rendered an 'expansion" of the sky (1000x1300) and combined them in photoshop. once again the clouds are several different photos, some from Mayang and some from Zhann's wonderful dramatic skies pack. some textures were also added in photshop. Thanks for taking a look, comments and suggestions are very welcome!! Jordan

I love this! The epic story behind it just oozes through. It's faultless. It'll be a long time before I see a more impressive picture.

Left. This image is stunning. Cinematically, perfect. And the fact that it's tilting left, in this case, works well to add a dynamic tension between the ship, and the dock, enhancing the "Floaty" feel of the ship. Excellent work!!!
