Thanks for the comments. I had forgotten about my Renderosity account until someone reminded me I had one (I haven't been here since 2000). I try to create images which tell stories. I'm not the best modeler so I usually concentrate on using simple objects and spend most of my time on lighting, texturing, and scene composition. I'll try to post more of my recent images sometime soon. The grass is a series of planes (about 30 or 40) of different sizes. Each is textured with 1 of 3 different grass textures with transparency masks and then placed throughout the scene.
