Description
The Caribou were caught up high when the storm hit.
They were in their summer grounds minding their own business.
They had about 3 weeks to start for the winter feeding grounds, when Mother Nature slammed them with a very early storm. Normally a early storm disappears in a day or two, but this one is for real and stayed. They waited for the melt-off, but it never came.
After days of trying to navigate knee deep snow and escaping the predators they reached the lower pass. Now weary and needing food they walk slowly down to their winter feeding grounds.

Oh my gosh!! This is beautiful Frank! The terrain, the surface and the Caribou! Wonderful heartfelt story too! Poor things, they made it out though :) V

Stunted brush, great surfaces, and cool postwork. This is a great image.

Why did you use the same caribou pic ? Terragen base is nice, postwork could be improved !

Agree with Hill about the caribou, and the four trees which are also the same. Regarding Terragen, you should try to improve your surfaces and you will have images better and better.

Great mood; nice pw, esp in the f/g

pretty PW, I like the plants in the foreground. The last caribou is a little tall to respect the perspective. Nice pic.

Nice Terragen part imo. Agree with all above about the caribou : the last one is too tall, and the contrast/luminosity isn't very good (but I can't do better my self !). Postwork for the vegetation in the foreground is very good imo.

Great story again Frank, and wonderful picture. Agree with Eoin, the pw is particularly good in the foreground.
