Description
I get tired of typing this,...but this image has no purpose other than to be an experiment in trying to acheive the elusive goal of realism.....
Eventually,...I will produce some 'art' :-)

I just think you might have achieved that realism you're looking for! Aside from a tiny bit of "angularity" in the hair, this is a perfect piece! Outstanding!

thx....but this and my last piece both are not quite there......the photo-real 'pure' render I am after...which I am close, I feel (in my gallery last coupla posts)...is still not quite there. Processing the image into a scene in Pshop allows for easier accomplishment,....but until I get the 'pure render' to be 100%...I cannot allow myself to pursue my art. And yes,...Kosaburo hair did some weirdness when I manipulated the mesh. :-(

You can't give up on art because you've feel you haven't achieved "Realism"!! Its all about lighting and the texture of the skin!! I'd like to achieve the painted look that most artworks have on here, but it doesn't stop me from doing artwork!! Don't give up, keep doing artwork, its great to see!! Beautiful job on this!! The lighting is beautiful!!

mse.....dont worry.....I am not 'giving up' on my art at all,...but what I wish to create involves a very realistic subject,...hence my initial pursuit of realism!....I am comping this stuff together for fun too...and I do sorta consider these 'art'...a little.
