Description

This poor, worthless picture was commissioned by Random House for a book cover, but then their Sales & Marketing department decided they wanted to go in a different direction.

Oh, poor unwanted picture. But definitely not worthless! Love the tree-vines, the clouds, the transition between one world and the next, all very well done!

oh how i love when the publisher does that - i think this is the sentence which i hate the most of all - sorry, but we changed our minds --- grrr - but hey this makes this fabulous work not to a poor homeless illustration - it is what it is - a fantastic work of art - and you are a really remarkable artist!! - my hats up to you..

This is the most beautiful rejection I've ever seen!! I hope the image Random House chose is extraordinary, because I would have HAD to buy the book with this on it's cover! Amazing work!
