Description

"Just after midnight, the Legion arrived at Ri'aka and formed a line across its fields, anchoring its center on the old ruined keep. As the first moments of dawn lightened the skies, the alarms were raised.... Zrie's army had arrived." Image 8 in the series - an attempt at a largish night scene. Many thanks to various people in the bryce forum for useful suggestions and new years resolutions be damned ;) Sorry for the picture width and any unpleasent scrolling you may have to go through. Thanks for taking the time to look and for any thoughts or opinions you may leave (and for having lots of patience if you've been following the series from the start).

if only I could........ Wonderful and well thought out work you have shared with us all. I really love the fact that the humans are so well orginized and the army of skeletons are so disordered. Vote and top rank for you!

Well, I won't be the first to say, nor the last to say it: YOUR IMAGES KEEP ON GETTING MORE WONDERFUL BY THE POST!!!! This is incredible, way more than i would have ever imagined a title forced image. The lighting is great, the terrain, huge but certainly needed and very well done. I would like to know where you get your best stuff, and if you make them yourself, sell it!! make money!! get rich!! make yourself known, or even more so!! Flak, i am truly amazed at the power you have to create such incredible moving-emotional pictures, that i can't seem to cope with it. The story line that you have going is wonderful, as well as the action you put forth to make it really happen. V for you, and have a nice weekend!!

YEAH!! This is superb work. I admire the skill and hard work that goes into making large battle scenes in 3d, and you've truly succeeded here. You should write a tutorial on how you did this, I for one would love to read it.

Excellent pic, the illusion of scale is fantastic with the amount of figures in it. Good battle scene.
