Description

"During the Night Wars, Ri'aka Keep had anchored the Army of the North's defensive lines. By the time they were finally pushed back, the surrounding fields had run red with the blood from both sides. Some 300 years have passed since those wars slipped into the shadows of history, but soon, the ruins of Ri'aka Keep will once again anchor the defensive lines of the north..... for Zrie's army was closing." Image 7 in a series of (what was originally only) 5. A bit different in style to some of the other images in the series - had to get a certain new years resolution out of the way fast ;) For those who are interested, the grass is about 2000 transmapped 2d picture objects spread randomly over the field. Many thanks to various people in the rosity chat room for useful suggestions. Please let me know what you think and thanks for taking the time to look/comment and for all your support. Cheers, and have a great new year :)

Finally! A new and exciting image from the master! As always, this one is no disappointment. Beautiful work, my friend. The panoramic (16:9-ish) format works very effectively here, gives it a cinematic quality... waiting for the movie now. :o)
