Description

Here I'm again... :) ...with a selfportrait. This was a very old experiment with a scaner. And there were lots of scans, but this particular one was reproduced in some kind of a picture. The only thing I can tell about this is that selfscaning is a very hard thing You know. You can't blink, you gotta keep your nose away from the glass, you can't breath. Most of all You must be aware there's nobody around to take You from behind :) And ofcourse You have to wash Your face and clean all Your plates and wires to look beautifull :)) As I mentioned above there were 3 things used to make this picture: Old AGFA StudioScan IIsi scaner; My head :) and lots of Photoshoping around... and it was finished in 2001. :) Enjoy and comment.

I liked the approach for this portrait of a young man as an artist. Keep washing your face and soul.

This is very impressive piece. Did you draw the biomech elements or pull them from a external source?

Wish my wires were that shiny. This would make a great entry to the machineflesh contest at cg talk. Looks great.

I do have the same problems when scanning a self-portrait, cleaning the wires is such tedious work :-P Breathtaking work!
