Description

Well... this was a self challenge but I give up... I can't go on anymore.. That's it. Been working on this for a long time and it's still not like I want it to be, but to handle 29433548 polygons is not up to my strengh... ... Final credit goes to this: Bryce and Bryce only. No any imported object. The mech itself is made even without "imported" objects in Bryce menu section. No postwork, no nothing. The only "from outside" acuired piece was a texture picture imported into Material Lab. Bumps there made in there. See any? Me neither. But to render this damn steel trash in greater size... I'll better commit a suicide right now. ... Judge. And do it fast 'cause I need this hangar for a better purpose and this "Johnny Walker" will go to refinery. ... If You wanna know what this ment to be... MAD-Dock (Mobile Antimater Drill Dock) - a remote control platform used as a miner. Why remote? It uses nuclear fuel cels u know... :)

Personally, I think it gets a little lost in the background as the textures are very similar and the lighting is flat. As for the design and construction, not to mention your texturing, I can't fault you, I'm utterly impressed that you managed to pull off something like this in Bryce. Very good work :-)

Dude, I know its a mech hangar and not an art gallery. I humped an AM rig on Ganymede for thirteen years - right up till I tried to supercharge it... learned a big lesson that day. Pi and eta mesons are their own anti-particles - and operators shouldn't mix their own subatomic cocktails.

No need for the refinery as far as I'm concerned. Excellent & vote.

Wow, even though it does get lost in the wall background. Fix that nit and you have my vote.

WHOA! freakin amazing dude! That is impossibly awesome! One of the best models I've seen in weeks! Congratulations! Dude... this is just beyond description! And the lighting is perfect too. The way it interacts with the metal, simply breathtaking. Great texturing! i love it! Very realistic, and you can't see any warping or tiling! Cool! Vote

Da flt mir doch glatt die Kinnlade runter...wie kann man so ein komplexes Modell "nur" in Bryce erstellen? Sehr beeindruckend. Vielleicht solltest Du das Teil aber doch in etwas "gstigeres" Licht rken...

Excellent modeling! i agree - because of the similar textures, the robot does tend to get a little bit lost in the background, yet i wouldn't worry too much - only a few highlights here and there would be needed - other than that - perfect!

Fabulous! I would love to see the wireframe view! I imagine a lot of boolean objects intersected! Would make me insane!! Suberb!! One minor suggestion, a different background texture to generate more contrast against your superb model, would really make it shine! ;)
