Moving, calm, deep. He is leaving a message written with his own valuable feather! He really does something with his own body part... He is in his thoughts surrounded by riddles of life. I don't see him hopeless or anything negative... He is doing something remarkable, in his loneliness, by his own . Beautiful painting. With so many possibilities for interpretations. Very touching, very thoughtful. And so beautiful!

I've tried to find the words to describe my feelings on this picture, yet so far I haven't managed. To start out with though is the obvious: it's completely gorgeous. The texture implies grittiness, such as graffiti on a wall would have, but that 'cinder block' value has translated to a veneer over life itself here. There is an air of sorrow to it, but it doesn't feel hopeless. It feels like...waiting. It's beautiful and thank you so much for showing it to usbig hug

Oh man! What the hell! o_O This is...duno! I'm just speechless really...all those superlatives won't do the trick here...reminds me of some stories by Anne Rice...the texture and colors and mood and, of course, the angel....very sad and desperate angel...lost...lonely...this rocks big time Cassie!

look at yourself, oh fallen one, as you sit by the side and etch the blood of your sorrows into the cold stone. look at yourself... what you have become... shame courses through your veins. your mighty wings will soon be tattered, torn, like the hair covering your once perfect face. look at yourself oh fallen one... ----------- my interpretation
