Description
The last time I saw this shot was months ago. For some reason I didn't really like it. I do like it now. I guess at the time I had some pre-conceptions as to the validity of the shot in terms of overall quality, due of an innate sense of self-criticism. It's funny how one can stifle ones judgement with overly-negative thoughts...not to say this is an excellent shot - but I do like it way more than I used to.

I am assuming that this shot was taken just before sunset because of the warm colors. I like the movement too...I like how you left him room to run. I like that the sun is setting on the other side of the scene giving it balance. I enjoy looking at photos taken at sunset, sunrise, and in the middle of the night. You have a winner here. I am sure you could sell this image to a company that makes surfboards, or a vacation planning outfit.
