Description
The Canyon is one of the most beautiful scenic site's in the world.
A few years ago this was just a ditch in the desert. Over a couple of years or so it is now 1 mile down and still going.
It has more colors than a rainbow or maybe even a spectrum..
The Colorado River start's over in Colorado and joins with the Green river from Utah. The Green starts up around Brown's hole, a famous bandit hide-out.
Together they formed this Canyon, this most colorful and stupendous canyon.
The canyon has givin man a lot of pleasure in one form or another. Everything from taking Pictures to running the rapids.
The Canyon was here long before man and will be here long after man has gone.
There are many stories here in the Canyon, from Lee's Ferry to the young couple on their honeymoon who drowned running the rapids in a old wood boat.
Gold has been found here but not much, Most of the treasure is in the wonderment and beauty of this place, this canyon.
They call it the Grand Canyon, but any number of names would fit. Too many to name, and everyone has their own name for it.
It's only fitting it is located in Arizona. :O)
Not bad for a river and erosion.

Wonderful story and one heck of an image. Glad you threw in that about the honeymoon couple. There has been a special on TV about them a couple times. Super job of painting.
