Description

Journal entry - 2/21/2792: It was morning when we made our first pass of this long dead city. Kilometers high above the water, the skeletal remains of these huge structures left us in awe of who might have built them. The light is just now revealing to us just how ancient this place is. The metal on the buildings seems almost organic in it's decay yet they remain standing after what we guess to be more than 10,000 years. I just heard...Murdok says we begin a survey of one of the structures in an hour - I can't wait! Ha! Another mystery on Pavonis 3, one of many it seems. Vernon Grant - Science Officer UCSS Endurance

Fantastic. I love it. So majestic. I love to emerse myself in scenes like this. I like the hint of a story too. (A novel, perhaps)? an elevation map would be cool. What better way to learn?
