Description

At first many thanks to Nostradamus2002 for helping me with the water and some usefull tips :) I've been working very long at this one and I'm pretty satisfied with the result. Some things can still be improved. Since I'm new to this scene I'd like to get comments for improvements. Happy rendering! Martin

Agree..water is perfect, terrain is very good and surface is unusual, like deftonesfan said, but not bad. Great image!

I'm glad you found my tips useful and you did an excellent job on the water - looks great! Maybe the surface is a little bit strange and unusual but I like it! I also like the atmosphere and terrain - in my opinion all elements work together. This image has a special style and art is a matter of taste - for me that's an excellent piece or art. And I don't say that just because of seeing my name above-mentioned ;-)

Thanks a lot for the feedback :) Hopefully I'll be able to improve the surfacemaps, but I still find this quite difficult while I'm not so experienced (yet!) ;)

This is good stuff here, if you are just beginning you will keep refining your tecnique and just get better and better. I really like the surface textures and the water. Super image.

I realy like the mood and the texturing is far beyond the common mainstream which makes it even better.
The water itself is beautiful, IMO it is an eyecatcher itself so it is hard to concentrate on the surface what makes the picture a bit unbalanced.
Sky and atmosphere are just the way I love it!
