Yep, that's me...BIOHi there, my name is Martin Huisman and I live in the netherlands and I am 24 years old.
I recently finished my study biomedical research at the university of Rotterdam and now I'm working in the research field of kidney-transplantion problematics.
Totally different than CG art! :)
At the moment I only use Terragen and I recently downloaded the SOPack plugin, which I'm now exploring. For postwork I use PSP and PS8. But I am also not really experienced with it.
At the moment I mainly use Terragen and I'm desperately waiting for TG-2 (hurry up Matt).
I also love fiddling around with Photoshop and recently I've bought a wacom tablet, love it!
Are there other things you do? Yes I play soccer, 3 times a week :) I especially like the 3rd half of the game *lol*. And I love going to parties, or just have a drink with my friends.

The surface looks very realistic! I like the rays and the sky very much in this and the water is sublime! Excellent work :)

Surface looks great - you did an excellent job here! But also water, surf, sky and rays are superb! Great amount of realism here and also very beautiful image! Love it!

Surfacework is very very good. I like the subtle strata. Sky, light and atmos make a really good job on the mood.
Only point is that you should reduce the terrain-distortion on the water, as this is normally common on large water-surfaces.
All over, due to the mood and surfaceworks a great image.

All things in combination here are excellent; these elements are very effective in producing an excellent composition. You might consider exploring other POVs here as this is an excellent piece of work.

Thanx a lot for the positive comments! @Haroon: Nice you saw the "subtle strata", I was afraid nobody would notice :) You're right about the distorted water. I'll try to fix it without affecting the water composition on the foreground.

Oh yea, I sure noticed the strata, a very integral part of the image. Even though it takes up a minute part, it has a great impact. Excellent job.

Very realistic rockface and strata. The grass is very beautiful too (but a few more children in the surface may add more beauty) -- :) And the atmo and lighting is very serene. Bravo!

Textures are awesome...lighting too...excellent work!!!

The rocks on the left look so real! And I saw the strata, too.
