Description

My image "In The Woods" (which can be viewed here) came together so quickly, I didn't save in-progress views, but this collection shows the main layers from bottom to top. The image was built with around 35 layers in all, beginning in one file and continuing into a second file when the first became too awkward (large) to work with. I know this overview doesn't show details very well, but I hope it will at least give some idea of the building of the image - working from back to front, then ducking back into the middle areas to add little extras, then making some final tweaks to the overall color tones and brightness/contrast.

Thanks for sharing this. I need to get into layers more than I am. This shows how they would work for such a scene, which is very helpful. Awesome work as I said in the finished product. You all should check it out!
