Description
My entry to the Maxon Cinema 4D liquid contest.
This is my first liquid. To obtain liquid in the pitcher, I subtracted the vessel from a cube; for the surface and for the stream, I used lofting. Liquid in the glass is a formula-modified cylinder. Air bubbles in the liquid and liquid drops in the air are either primitive spheres or metaballs.

due to the lighting of the whole scene it makes its difficult to really see any detail - maybe this is the fallback of pouring glass into glass?
Silgrin
No, it`s the fallback of having the old version of the program. I had to model everything apart the pitcher and I had no time for playing with the light-stronger lighting caused the jug to look almost nontransparent. Anyway, after all these enthusiastic beginners there is one honest man... or worm, even if dead. I think you should be better satisfied with my next graphic-I plan to put much more details in it. This one was made mainly to test the possibility of making liquid and to make nice atmosphere.

Wow you must be good! All these comments! ;-)
Silgrin
Well, the comments are to be HELPFUL, sending sth like yours with a low ranking isn`t a good custom!

nice work, you should check out www.nextlimit.com and look at realflow and realwave. I have recently purchased these products. Look at their gallery of vids and pictures. Amazing liquids!

I like all those reflections. Cool job.

from my point of view, your work worth all the appreciations...using only black and white gives our eyes the oppotunity to guess what's beyond the representation...exc. in all the ways!

I have to learn about this program...! This is so real! More than excellent work!
pixeltek
Well, you sure hit the liquid title smack dab on the head. That rendered out really well.

Astonishing, I seldom have a chance to see the CGI work on rosity but I always look when a comment is made on my site. There are more planes on my gallery if you wander about.
