The research I found lead me to believe that all the way-points were about 1/2 mile apart and just about 1 days travel.. I spent 3 days checking out the Alcoves. I didn't find anything, but you never know. I broke camp about 7 AM and headed north again. Passed a few snakes, (the ones I saw) and some lizards. For the time I've been here I haven't seen anything that didn't crawl. I got to the appox area of the Sun Man. I looked for 2 hrs and could not find anything in any formation that even came close to looking like a Face or Man. I sat down on a point over looking the valley. Going over my notes. Guess I got tired and drifted off a little. I was woke up by the scream of a Eagle. He flew right past my face. Scared the hell out of me. I hope I scared him right back.. Protected species my butt, he almost gave me a heart attack. I looked across the valley and there were some of the "boys." There must be water some place for them to be here. I looked to my right and there was the "Sun Man." I looked back to the left and there in the rocks I could see a shaft of sunlight coming through a small opening. It formed a pervert outline of a man on the cliff face. With in seconds the light was gone as the sun moved. If that Eagle would not have woke me up I would have missed the Sun Man.. I'm right on track and all the way point's are here so far. I can smell the Treasure........ To be Continued. TG and PSP for post work.
