Description

Here we go! Hey, it's absolutely great you guys'n gals want to walk with me along that lovely garden :o). Try to show you some nice places there... for example this detail from the Temple of God Merkur, I've posted yesterday. Thanks Cindy, for bringing a sackfull of chocolate covered strawberries for everyone, you're so sweet! And Brian, don't be afraid... I promise there won't be any fountain during the walk... we just take the other route ;o). BTW I'm too busy finding the best path for you so the knitting has to wait, my friend. And there's a problem with that Leder Hose too... you can't get any in the region where I'm living. Perhaps you should ask Tom living in Munich, they sell a lot there ;o)... or you could ask him to invite me and I'll get you one there :o) *just kidding* Hope all of you will enjoy the walk! Thanks for your time! And thanks a lot for your kind comments on my previous shot Transitoriness the beginning of our tour. Hugz Monika

The way this art and stone-work looks now is probably so much better than in it's original un-decayed form. Wonderful!

Lovely. The contrast of the carving with the rough rock is wonderful.

*sigh...I studied classical architecture for too long...wanting to point out the things they got wrong with the carvings...someone please stop me... A gorgeous photo, though...I adore the textures of the rocks...they are really special

Guess I'm too late for the strawberries sigh, but fortunately beautiful architecture doesn't run away very fast :-)

Love these old structures and you are doing them justice! Excellent shot here! Black and white seems to me the only to have shot this. Enjoying the walk, and as I walk I am wondering if there are any plans of restoration of this structure? And of course I am late as usual so no strawberries left! sigh
