Wasn't sure if this was the right category, but I checked back and saw some excellent bee photos by fox3b, snakey et al. Alot of great photos here; cats, dogs, parrots and those egret shots by Randy. Anyway, there are two hives in birdhouses next to my orchard, and they swarmed out last week, ending up in a plum tree. They stayed about 4 days, until it warmed up. They tend to like bigger birdhouses that have extra-large holes after being chewed by squirrels.

They should be in someones bee hive so that one could enjoy the honey they would make. Brings back fond memories seening this swarm of bees. I use to keep 200 hives of bees until health problems and had to give it up. Sure do miss it. :o) Nice picture.

I had a swarm like this end up on my back lawn. A keeper came w/a box, laid it down, tapped on the top and they all marched in!! I love this photo...u can see just how dense they are. Thanx for sharing it.
