Ahh.. my little Wings3D army :D
This is a follow up to the Chess Board pic I uploaded yesterday (see that one for more info on this), as I said there I'm taking a little break from this project before I resume again.. But since I dunno when exactly that will be, I thought it best to give a closer view right now.
Not really that great an image heh.. the lighting's not that good etc. This is just more to give you an idea of how all those tiny figures from yesterday look like when viewed up close.
Might still make changes/improvements to some of the units, but for now the above from left to right:
Bishop, Knight, King, Rook, Pawn, and Queen
And again, all modeled in Wings3D, rendered in Ray Dream 5.5, and small adjustments in Painter 5.5

Thanks everyone, it's appreciated :} And for those that don't visit the Wings 3D forum here at R'osity.. I've made a thread there about these pics, and you can check out This Post for poly-count info etc.

I'm just worried that the King might not fit within the perimeters of the squares... Excellent modeling. I've used Winds and never imagined it could do this excellent work. You really bring out the best of the program.
PeterChov
Thanks ComplxMind The King actually does fit, but yea he takes up the whole square. (see the "Chess Board" pic in my gallery, I linked to it in my description above)
I was determined to keep all the units in the same scale (aside from the tower of course, that's impossible). So I made the king's base that large on purpose to show his significance, since otherwise he would end up being smaller than even the lowly pawn :0

I missed this one before. The pices are great. I have an idea now.....
