Description

Has it been two months? :0
Well just to prove I'm still alive, here's a little something... Still a work in progress but "done" enough, so I'll take a little break from it.
Everything modeled in Wings3D (for a "chess" challenge over at the wings3d.com forums), just something done for fun and skills. I know it's hard to see much detail from this small pic, but as I've said I still got some work to do on this.. Need to improve the wooden parts of the chess board a bit, change some of the dark units a little (right now identical to the light ones). But once I'm done with that I'll post a new render and some close ups of the units. Oh, and the little 'base' underneath each of the figures was added just now to make it more "realistic", not sure yet if I'll keep that.. And yes the Queen is an armored horse unit, and the bishops are archers.. due to the whole long distance attack thing
(Go away chess zealots, I can do whatever I want! :P)

Rendered in RayDream 5, and a tiny bit 'o tweaking in Painter 5
