Great work. But if you need some comments for improvement I suggest you make the water less blue and try to make the grass in the foreground a little less green. for the rest it's biautiful work. My compliments!

Wow! Except for the bright colours, this looks like a photo! Great work!

I remember being in Bamff .. the water was almost that color a little more green but that bright almost for real.. it's increadable out there.. but maby darken the grass and it would look like a photo..

Its extreamly beautiful although i do have one sudgestion. You should make a more sandish shore area around the land where the water meats. Or maybe just remove the land mass in the lower right. Fantastic lighting and overall is great!

Really breathtaking. I love scenes of natural splendor like this - and yup! - had to be Terragen. I have Bryce, and I'm getting Terragen envy. The sun shining through the haze is especially pretty. Having green grassy slopes going directly into the water is a problem I always have to deal with.

I think you're colours are just a little too bright...the green too green and the water too blue...if you darkerner it a bit, it would look a lot more realistic

The landscape is stricking. I've never used this program.

I'd suggest doing a distance render and then using it as a blurred alpha channel in Photoshop to "defocus" the background. The mountain in the centre is just a little too sharp focus.

Living Near Banff I'd just like to say its bloody awsome, (and the blue water, u, i suppose already know there are lakes in parts of banff where the water looks that blue on nice days)

Obviously Xabre doesn't know the meaning of contructive criticism. If you're so unimpressed that you feel compelled to say so, at least leave some feedback as to how you think it could be improved. For anyone who's curious, this was never intended to be the final image. I simply liked it enough on its own to share.

Original Comment: Ehm, what's so special about this?? The surface is simple and not very good, water terrible blue and the reflection much too bright and big! Terrain is good and sky, too but nothing special.

The terrain and surface are very nice. The water definitely needs work. In the community (if you haven't found that out, since it's been over a year since you posted this), if we're not finished with an image, we call it a WIP (Work In Progress) and then there is no misunderstanding.
