Description
I was taking a stroll up my forest road to see what news spring had brought. I went up to the ant hill...Ooohhhh, the ants are out!!...down with the camera...Instant counter attack!!...ant acid all over the lens...whiping it off...another try...another counter attack. This time I also had to gently get rid of some ants that had occupied the camera, as well as my wellies, and pants :-) At that time I deceided to move off the ant hill, and try my luck on theire outer perimeteres :-)
Three days in a row I went up that road..never to get past that ant hill :-) I love the little critters...Tomorrow they have promised sun shine...lets see if I can get past that hill then :-) But I sure could use some better lighting to catch these fast critters with a faster shutter.

If you really need to get past the Ant-hill, you can borrow my blow torch any time!!! Fabulous shot and funny funny commentary. Looking at the Jaws on this fine beast, I'm glad its your pants their invading and not mine!

I know your pain, they are so fast, my camera is faaaar too slow to take decent pictures of those creatures. This shot is just amazing!
