Description

From Edjua that was fairly simple to create to this one... San Lucre is probably one of the scene that caused me the most troubles. Especially the lighting was a tough one. Lit from scratch, using more than 30 lights. I also experimented with coloured lights to enhance the mood. Most noticable is probably the blue shadows. www.thomaskrahn.com I hope you like it! :) Thomas Thanks to Tim Jones for the bridge-model! It was hard to texture, but still a great model ;) - Update - I felt something was missing so I've added a little man to the dock. I also enhanced some textures. Thanks for commenting everybody! :)

Nice job! The warm colors of the bridge and the cool shadows look great. I think your shadow areas are just a little too dark for being the middle of the day though. Cool scene!

Great composition with some touches very original (blue shadows, POV, clouds on horizont and as usual the subject). Improved the your wall textures in this one also. Surely one hot20.

Excellent composition, completed by the POV. - Det er en god ting at arbejde med tonet lys til skyggerne, bruger det selv :) F.eks. i billedet med ramslene har jeg brugt et mkegrt "skyggelys" - men det er selvfgelig ikke 30 lyskilder...

A great piece, no doubt, Thomas. :) As i see it, you're making quick progress in very little time. Excellent! Yes, the blue shadows are visible, but, if i were you, i'd go for a slightly "greener" blue - the blue shadows are reflections of the water, i assume, right? the water is a bit green - i would love to see the same picture with lighter and greener shadows. :) Dunno, maybe i'm wrong, but this is how i see it :P. Other than that, the image is great! I'm glad you added a human element to the image - it livens up the image a lot! :) Wonderful! oh and- Happy Easter, if you celebrate it :D
