Description

The Swiss Alps are favorite for me to pass my holiday. The Jungfrau (4158 m) is a little bit too high for me, but on rare occasions I take the train to visit a location that is not easy to be reached by foot. I took the train from Lauterbrunnen to the Jungfraujoch (3454 m) and there I had this panoramic view. Nowadays you can watch the weatherconditions and that can be helpful, because reaching the top in the clouds is usually not a superb experience.... The largest glacier of the Alps, the Grosse Aletschgletscher, is starting here. The location in the center is called Konkordiaplatz, where four glaciers 'melt' together in the Grosse Aletschgletscher. From the Jungfraujoch I had a magnificent panoramic view on this glacier which I'd love to share with you. Thanks for your attention and your comments
