Description

Our identity is basicly founded on other people. On those who are close, but also on those who are somewhere else, far away, maybe only in past.... They say that the first relationships are the most valuable, the most important. Nevertheless I know many of us have survived through loveless childhood, but yet.... This is my fourth work for 2D forum's April theme, Identity. I made this mainly in Illustrator; some postwork with the background in PhotoShop. Thank you for viewing! Comments are always nice to read, so I thank you for them:-)

I forgot: I used a reference photo taken by my sister about 28 years ago for drawing (by "hand") with vectors.

I just wondered if it was you "the mother" or you "the child". It is you and your son, and it is just wonderful! The mother identity is so strong when the children are young, and you caught that so fine here, I can see the love in your eyes. The vector work is wonderfully subtle, so appropriate to the motive.

Very Nice! You've definately captured the emotion of the moment. On a trivial note, I think that the background distracts a bit from the main focus. But overall, very well done!

You captured the essence of the bond & the emotions beautifully here Titta, the black & almost abstract background really enhances the sense of intimacy & delicate strength the bond creates. A very striking piece of work ; )

The black is a nice isolator of the subjects and also adds a felling of a sinister world and the need for protection. A very thoughtful image Titta.:0 )

Such a warm-hearted image! Your colors are great, and I love those lines. I see it as the singling-out of a moment in the hustle-bustle of going about living. Well done!
