Description

More work on this growing planet I still need to work on water and some lower level clouds but getting the terrain avoidance right is giving me trouble. These clouds must be sparse. Another very interesting material to add as well. I think the terrain is almost sorted now. This has been the hardest part because it is complex. I might even add oceans or wide open spaces. I've tried this but it does mean even more terrain complexity

This world is growing very well. I like the mat used for the floor terrain (bottom left close up). Adding and extra cloud layer would give the sky more depth. Keep going, good luck with rest of it. Thumbs up so far =)

This is looking really good!! perhaps try using a texture for the cloud-terrain avoidance..It might be what your looking for..For the water, keep in mind, displacements don't reflect properly, you need to make the waves a little rough so the non reflection isn't noticeable. Your really doing some interesting work..

Very interesting formations you've got there. The distorted noise of the voroni in the forground looks great to.

This is coming on in brilliantly. The shaled rock ground layer and those tar/carbon mounds are really cool. Bizzying up the waters as Bruce suggested and exploring textured cloud terrain avoidance should take it up another notch. Excellent work so far!

I'm really liking how this is progressing...you've done some awesome work so far, and it can only get better from here!
