Description

The Battle was long and hard. Brutal. Ferocious. No quarter was givin and none was asked. It does not matter what the Battle was about or even who started it. The Braves fought at the command of their Chief. They fought hard and deadly. Now the Battle field is covered in the blood and bodies of these same Braves. The Women will sing the death songs to night, the funeral fires will burn for days. This was Spirit Hawks 1st battle, it is his last. Wounded too many times, but he was a proud warrior who counted coup 6 times today. Yes he fought with all heart for his Chief and the Honor of his tribe. He knows he will soon die as will his pony. There is no one at camp for him to go to. He prays to the Great Gods to guide him to the Lake of no Horizon, To his after life, the eternal hunting grounds. He knows to watch out for Coyote, who will try to lead him down the wrong path. He has reached the Lake of no Horizon. His pony is just about done. He looks up into the sky and see's the white Spirit Hawk who leads warriors to the after life, where the hunting is always good and the tribe is happy and healthy. The Hawk cries to him, "It is time." "You are a Brave Warrior." "Come take your place." The Pony slumps to the ground. Spirit Hawk falls. He Smiles, and begins his Journey on the Spirit Path from the Lake of no Horizon.. TG and PSP for Post.

Frank this story is excellent! I love the scene too with the wounded warrior! It says so much about the courageous Indians in the past, and how they loved their people! Very outstanding work! :) V

Beautiful piece of work, your Indian is magnificent. The eagle hangs there as it should. This is a very nice piece.

Great story and render, my friend. Which came first, the render or the story? The composition is great. Is this what one can do with TGD, then? I have it but just can't seem to get the hang of it. I still render a few in original TERRAGEN, but mainly in VUE, even if the water is just not as good... ;o) Warm regards, from a chilly Glasgow, John.
