Description

I started this one a week ago and have let myself obssese over it for days. I have/had hundreds of additional details that I wanted to do but I have to just say its done...for now. Anyway this image wanted to be of an abondoned warehouse with some "ultimate" weapon created in the 1940s and forgoten about. Well as usual all comments and crits are encouraged. Thanks for viewing...

Hi all, thanks for you input. Soapy: The light coming from the skylight windows was a combination of 1 visible light in cinema and airbrushing dots of light in each window pain in photoshop. I then make 3 or 4 copies and, in succession, blur them(one stronger than the next) The blending mode is Vivid light... thats it

This is defenantly Expose Book worthy! I think you have just the right amount of detail...I'm pulled in it for both modeling and story feel.

Amazing work, dennis. I would swear I'm looking at a photograph. I don't know what that "weapon" is but it sure looks real. Excellent+++

I gave this an Excellent rating and I mean that. However, given that your goal was a left over experimental war weapon from the 1940's, I don't think you achieved that. Jingoistic I know, but I would have gotten that quicker with a swastika on the flag or something a little more common from WWII. Again, I know jingoistic and probably not accurate, but sometimes playing to the audience's level and not yours gets the idea across quicker. As far as the detail, I think it is a little overwhelming, possibly too much. My eye wants to travel all over. All in all though a great image and worthy of an excelllent vote.
