::: Part 48 of a series of Warbird Panorama Photos ::: (Coming up on 50!) Taken at the Planes of Fame Museum at the Chino Airport, California. (4-12-04) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- For more warbird images, please visit http://www.warbirds.n3.net --- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Whew! Been a while since I've been here. Sorry everyone! I'll try and post more things. I got a brand new Canon Rebel EOS 300D recently, and have already taken over 3,000 images since I bought it three weeks ago. The first 360 with the new camera, it came out great. MUCH better than I thought. Not to mention the full size image is 360 inches long, just about a inch per degree (at 180 dpi)! Aircraft are: Starting with the left and going right. We have the first half of a RARE J2M3 Raiden (static, and the only on in the world), the famous A6M5 Zero that's quite a movie star and the only Zero in the world that is all original with original engine, then we have a Hawker Hurricane Mk X, a new arrival, which is the GeeBee Racer (a replica, red with white), the behind that is the partially built Fieser Storch the museum just got (missing the entire nose), and behind that you can just barely see the nose cowling of a Sopwith Camel. Hanging above the GeeBee is a Hanriot HD-1 Scout. The red Tri-Plane is a Fokker DR 1. just like the famous Red Baron's plane of WW1, then there's a rare twin prop Spitfire Mk XIX which is a recon version, above it is a Horten Ho-IV Flying Wing Glider, scroll over and you'll find a small green plane that is a Me-163 Komet replica. In the distance hanging from the cieling behind it is a Bristol F2b, the tannish crashed plane is the museum's G4M! Betty Bomber that's in the original crashed position as it was found in the pacific, then the bright yellow-orange J8M1 Shushi which was the Japanese's version of the ME-163 Komet, then finally the other side of the J2M3 Raiden. WHEW!!! This panorama was taken with a Canon Rebel EOS 300D (6 Megapixel D-SLR) and is made up of 17 shots.

Nice Hurricane! It's Bader's old steed, or at least it has Bader's markings. The Spit is beautiful! The picture is amazing! Thanks. You made my day!
