Description

I was messin' around this morning with textures and stuff. I applied a transparent shell around earth with a blue cast to give it an atmosphere, it don't really look like earth though...the textures in Rhino leave something to be desired.

that's why most of us don't try to texture in Rhino. We decal. Still, this is looking really good.

I will say that this is one of the more realistic earths that I have seen. The atmosphere glow os visible in the shadow side...that might be a but odd. I have the same problem in Maya. Where did the textures come from?

you should open your eyes donald! there a severall very good earth rendering here at renderosity, this is only average. the amtosphere is to big. and its not that much skill needed to put a image on a sphere :-) i think every 3d newbie could do this afer 10 minutes (and most doo) :-)
