Have you tried to add some volumetric lights? That would add a lot of improvement. However it's a very nice start, which you should gon on with. :)

I agree with Winged one about the volumetric lights, but this is a great idea. The ruins look superb although it looks like you've crunched the file a little too far into JPEG as your getting pixilation throughout the image. Nice work!

Very well done...only thing I would have done is rendered it bigger and higer res. Other than that it looks fantastic. Keep them comming.
