Description

Canon 10D + Sigma 28-300mm Hyperzoom ISO 800 f5.6 1/1000 Out of all the green into a place of orange-browns. Warmth of earth and nature...this mausoleum was one of the grandest that I saw in the small part of the cemetery I visited. The carving and architecture was amazing and it felt so safe. This shot looks up into the roof. I like the shapes that are cast, the flow of the arch and, once more in this cemetery, another example of strength. Thanks for viewing.

Aaaaah! ....a bow. I like bows! And I don't feel strength. To me it's something like comfortable, well-built, with sensitive proportions. Great view! very well done.

For me, the word 'mausoleum' has such a powerful ring of entombment and death (Like the series title). Once again we enter by imagination through the doorway you have prized open with light. Creepy shot.

Yes, thanks to the column, there is strength here. But you need to watch out if mausoleums seem 'safe' to you... :D Lovely shot.
