I have been in love with this angel since I first saw her several years ago. She lies hidden in large bushes, and as you walk by, you catch a gleam of green from the corner of your eye. She stands proudly, a testement not only for the soldier who lies beneath her, but also to life at it's best.
Although not the best shot of her, I will be coming back to her again later in the series for two more shots. This has had a bit of modification...the yellows of the surrounding foliage have been darkened and desaturated...and her green, dulled by the light, I've given a little helping touch to make shine. Isn't she glorious?
