Description

Ultrafractal 3.02 "...Beldar, you have disgraced your cone and have been found guilty by this court. I sentence you to...mmmmmmm....narffle the garthag!" Got into working with Mark Townsend's "Gnarl" (mt.ufm) formula on this one with Toby Marshall's WAY cool "Tapestry-x" (tma.ucl)coloring algorithm. All the layers for this were made with that combo - my first time with them both - except the sphere, which is my trusty old (hopefully not worn out!) Nova (Mandelbrot) and Doodads combo. My first foray into a gnarly and, just like me, it turned out really weird! lol Thanks for stopping by! Sorry for the corny play on words using "gnarl" in the title - must be some weird chemicals in the shrimp I've been catching. Or maybe I've watched The Coneheads WAY too many times! :>)

Awesome render Rick! There is a crane like (bird like) quality to this image and the name alone makes me smile, truly a lovely vision, so I figure Belgar got off with an easy sentence! Bravo!

Wonderful work, very elegant and original. There's something about the sphere I don't like, but I can't put my finger on it (sorry for not being very helpful).

Super cool fractal composition, Rick. Great Garthag (????) design! The colors and lighting are primo, and I think I'd like to see it sans sphere, too.
