Description
Another day as the Sun Rises.
The Sun is greeted by the nights mist.
In the cities most people are still sleeping, waiting for their alarms to wake them to another day in their "Lives" of running and racing, doing this and getting that.
Out here in the "Other"world things are different, slower and more in tune.
Birds are singing and the farmer is already milking his cows.
Night creatures have found their burrows and the day creatures are up and about.
The Owls have gone to bed and the Eagles and Hawks have taken to the air.
The Mist will give in to the sun and become dew. The animals will lick the dew from the leafs and plants to get the moisture, the rest will fall to the ground where the earth will use it to keep the grasses alive.
As the mist lifts off the lake the Geese and Ducks are starting to move and eat. Soon they will continue their journey north.
A few Hawks and Eagles have made their kills and brought the prey back to the nest to fed the young ones.
The Snake has found the burrow of a Kangaroo Rat. The Badger is mad as always, never satisfied with his digging.
The Mourning Doves have left the water hole and hit the groves for food.
The Farmer is done milking his cows and starts to separate the milk from the cream.
The Snake has fed and a Rabbit escapes from a Hawk.
The Geese and Ducks are already 30 miles north of the lake.
The Quail are loud as they search under the Mesquite for seeds.
The day goes on.
The Alarms go off in the cities and people start to get ready for their work and their day.
They think the day is just starting, but for many it is 1/2 done.

Milking cows is hard work! ;) It sounds like you live on Navajo time. Wonderful atmosphere.
