Description


Her father was a merchant. He had a dozen ships that visited the New World to gather goods for trade and sale. She convinced him to let her go with one of his ships - a small adventure to ease her boredom. A freak storm shattered the ship and she was lucky to be washed ashore alive and unharmed. She was lucky she had blond hair. The natives thought she had been sent by the gods and spared her life. Not so the surviving crew. Now, she lives the life of a goddess and a prisoner. Well, it could have turned out much worse. I can see how she wouldn't want to be a goddess and have every possible comfort and pleasure, though. :O) (freedom counts more) The POV gives this more power, I think.
