It doesn't matter that her IQ is far above the norm. It doesn't matter that she has studied all the major philosophers: Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Locke, Kant, Berkley. It doesn't matter that she has read all the major works of poetry and prose: Browning, Keats, Shelly, Shakespeare, Dickens. It doesn't matter that she can talk intelligently about genetics, physics, astronomy, chemistry, and biology. It doesn't matter that she has likes and dislikes, wants and needs. It doesn't matter that she laughs and cries, loves and hates, feels joy and pain. It doesn't matter because she is different. She's "strange". She doesn't dress normally. She doesn't look normal. She prefers the night and darkness to sunshine and light. It doesn't matter because no one will even give her a chance.

This is superb work and I love your words. So sad yet so true - certainly for women in science. People often dismiss others because they have flair, style and maybe even seem... yes, God forbid, a tad strange. Great!

This is so cool, Paul. I'd give her a chance, in fact the girl that cuts my hair looks a lot like that, but with jet black punk hair. Excellent job and the lighting is great, as always.
