Description

A Fremen warrior hitches a ride on an Arakeen sandworm. WARNING: Due to the fact that the worm is a dark color, it may appear wrong in some monitors. If the worm's teeth (upper-left corner) appear completely black, you'll need to adjust your monitor settings to view this image properly. Ever since I discovered just how cool eyes with a blue ambient setting looked in Poser I've wanted to do a Dune inspired image (unfortunatly compression nixed the blue eyes in this one). When I got Amapi, this gave me the perfect excuse for a comparatively simple model to cut my teeth on: the Arakeen sandworm. The sandworm (which is even somewhat poseable!), mask and worm-hooks (whose exact name I don't remember) were all modeled by me in Amapi. Rendered in Poser, with the sky composited in PSP6 (due to Poser's annoying habit of shrinking the background). No other post-work.
