Description
"... As I was examining it, the strange sphere suddenly dissapeared leaving only a dark pit. One long, dark, fall later, I found myself staring into the face of what I thought was a small dinosaur. I was so worried about it, that I almost didn't notice its mother..."
-Digging with Dragons (the autobiography of Sarah Jones)
The twelfth image in my Aroth story arc (started with Desolation). Images to date: Desolation, Captive, Bait, Arcane Magic, Tragedy, Ambush, Departure, Underground, Observation, Nexrosis, Breakthrough, and Encounter.
As much as I like the wings on Anton's dragon most of the time, they were a royal pain to pose for this image. Apparently they were designed more for poses where they are somewhat spread.
As you can see, the quote for this image is attributed to a new source: the autobiography of Doctor Sarah Jones, the acheaologist who re-discovered the dragons. As the chronical moves closer to Aroth's 'present' (about the time-period of the image titled Desolation) expect to see more of this type of thing.
Credits can be found on my page, which has been re-vamped: http://acecalhoon.critical-depth.net/Info/Encounter.html
