Description

Masks, in the Theater, as in the life the masks are the synonym of a different personality. Many try to hide ther own emotions behind of the masks, at times very beautiful and colored, but floods of lies and fears. In the life as in the Theater at times they are the others to it stuffed to wear some masks, that we are forced then to bring for the fear not to like what we are really. The Mask assumes therefore a metaphysical value, it is the mean reality or fake, that the human mind uses for protecting himself from the criticisms, from the clashes, from the reality, the mask is what we want or we have to make to see to the others of us. But as at the end of the representation the actor raises the mask to reveal his/her real face, also in the life the moment comes of always to raise the mask to show to the others, but for the most part to ourselves our true face. We owe all to be happy that the others see us for what we are, because only in this way we will be sure that they appreciate us for what we really have inside. I devote this sketch of mine to my teacher of Recitation Gianni Zec, a person stubborn and sweet able to return to whom strength knows him to appreciate the human weakness and to do an of it arms winning in the life I devote this to all those people that are felt inadequate and not happy to the mask that themselves or the society, have forced them to wear. Free you of the it disguises and you leave that your eyes are revealing of your soul kiss to everybody bye Orietta In this image i've used, Apophysis 2.0 and PS7 for the background and the composition I hope you like it big kisses Orietta

That's pretty damn groovy. I don't particularly dig masks; like Popeye, I yam what I yam. But the image - and the intent - is unmistakable, and therefore, a perfect work of art. Lovely.

Wow, a very striking picture and wonderful concept. I like your dedication, too, for I think most wear masks, even if they can't be seen on the outside. Beautiful and thought provoking art. :o) CC
