Description


This is Mars a couple hundred years from now, when we terraform it, hopefully. The two bright stars are the moons of Mars, Phobos and Deimos, shining before sunset.

I wasn't aware the moons of Mars were so far away. You did a nice job of giving Mars a "partially terraformed" look.

Actually, they're not far away, they're just really small, probably just some captured asteroids, most scientists think. Deimos's orbit is slowly decaying, and will burn in the atmosphere a couple million years from now, leaving a ring around the planet. Now that would be something to watch.
