Description
The same Artmatic structure for the terrain as "Convolutions" with totally different results. The experiment was this...I created this first on my studio machine. Later at home I tried to recreate it from memory and got "Convolutions" The structure is the same in both cases.

I love the worlds of Riven and Myst. I like to try and create worlds that evoke that same feel. Here is one answer...the domes are metallic bell-like tone generating objects. By walking on them in a certain order they create a musical tone series that opens a gateway. ...or not. ; )

Very impressive work and explanation. In Penn., USA there is a place called Ringing Rock State Park. It is a field of small to bus sized boulders that ring like bells if you hit them with a hammer. Not as cool looking as your image though!
